Patricia M. Dugan is a life-long resident of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Little Flower High School, Villanova University and Villanova School of Law. She has completed additional studies in Business, Canon Law, Publishing and Theology. For her Canon Law degree, she lived and studied in Rome for two years, at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Besides her legal work, she founded and directs Canon Law Books, Inc. and has written and produced several books in Canon Law for her own company and for the Gratianus Series published by Wilson Lafleur of Montreal, Canada.
